Binary Events
Our report this week will be a bit brief as we have been in the throes of a market gripped by the fear of the outcome of the Brexit vote. While polls still show a fairly close vote, odds makers have been shifting their views over the past few weeks. From a polling perspective, there were noticeable gains for the exit camp at the beginning of the month, with a number of surveys too close to call, levels that have been mostly consistent over the past few weeks. The odds makers responded by raising the odds of an exit, although more recently have reversed some of these views, as some momentum has shifted back towards the remain camp following the murder of politician Jo Fox last week.
